Real
Estate Visionaries Dave Liniger And Larry Kendall Speak
At Sell-a-bration® 2005 In Las Vegas
CHICAGO, Oct. 13, 2004 Dave Liniger, the founder and
chairman of the board for RE/MAX International Inc.,
and Larry Kendall, the founder and chairman of The Group
Inc. Real Estate Company in Northern Colorado, are widely
recognized as real estate powerhouses willing to share
their wisdom. Attendees of Sell-a-bration® 2005
in Las Vegas, the annual educational event hosted by
the Council of Residential Specialists, will have the
unusual opportunity to listen to both of these leaders
at the event's Opening Session on Feb. 8, 2005, from
5 to 6:30 p.m., at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel.
Moderated by Howard Brinton, founder of Star Power
Systems, Liniger and Kendall will kick off Sell-a-bration®
with the Opening Session entitled Distinguishing Your
Service.
"All three of these men have amazing careers,
legacies and knowledge of our profession," says
Ingrid Glancy, CRS, CIPS, 2004 president-elect of the
Council of Residential Specialists. "They come
from similar beginnings but have found different niches
in real estate."
In Distinguishing Your Service, Brinton, Kendall and
Liniger will discuss their perspectives on:
- History and evolution of the industry, particularly
the future;
- Differences between successful and average agents;
- How education makes a difference in success versus
failure; and
- How companies can survive and thrive regardless
of size.
This panel brings together the first and only three
recipients of the CRS Special Achievement Award Brinton
in 2002, Liniger in 2003 and Kendall in 2004 which recognizes
their contributions to the industry. Brinton is the
founder of Star Power Systems and is a nationally recognized
speaker and author. Together with his team of Star Power
Stars, Brinton is working in partnership with the Council
of Residential Specialists to plan and execute Sell-a-bration®
2005.
"We would like to put the credit and focus back
on the agents of this industry, and how their personal
endeavors continue to raise the bar," Brinton says.
Liniger is an established visionary and role model,
and is the co-founder of RE/MAX International Inc. with
his wife, Gail. The company is now the largest privately
owned real estate franchising company with more than
82,000 agents and 4,500 offices in 43 countries.
Kendall is one of 12 founding partners of The Group
Inc., a firm headquartered in Fort Collins, Colo. Today,
the firm has seven offices and about 237 partners with
2003 gross sales of $1.5 billion. Kendall also developed
the content for the two CRS-approved one-day courses,
Ninja Selling I and Ninja Selling II. In 1999, he generously
gave the teaching rights away for free to Walter J.
Frey, CRS, with the only stipulation that the CRS Instructors
help change the industry's mindset.
"This Opening Session is not to be missed,"
says Gail Flagel, CRS, 2004 president of the Council
of Residential Specialists. "Participants will
discover great diversity of thought about the industry
from three of its most respected leaders. This session
will set the stage for a strong educational program
about how to deliver unparalleled service to your clients."
